Not necessarily, there are a number of alternative roofing and glazing
systems that can be used to reduce the heat effectively. It is also desirable
to build in as much ventilation as practicable. |

How will I heat my conservatory
in the winter? |

An electric Dimplex heater, thermostatically controlled with a timer should
be sufficient. These are available in various Kw sizes, your electrical
installer may advise you on the appropriate size for your conservatory. |

Can I have a conservatory over
a manhole cover? |
 |

This is not an insurmountable problem, again our designer and surveyor
can advise once they can inspect the exact location of the manhole in
relation to the conservatory. |

How do I prevent condensation
building up in my conservatory? |

Provided the conservatory is not damp and is well ventilated condensation
should not be a problem. |
